‘Bella Academy’ Awarded Scholars for the 2015-2016 Academic year

The scholars of the academy of food holding Bella for the 2015-2016 academic year, are three students from the one and only specialized university on the Balkans for food industry - University of Food Technologies (UFT Plovdiv). At a special ceremony ‘Bella Academy’ awarded Denitsa Dineva, Maria Petrova and Maria Spasova. Executive Director of Bella Elza Markova and the R ector of the UFT prof. eng. Kolyo Dinkov handed the winners symbolic checks worth 2000 Leva each .

‘As a leading company in food industry, we support young professionals and support their professional development in our country. With ‘Bella Academy’ we give them the opportunity to become part of our team of technologists and R&D specialists who are leading professionals with extensive international experience’, said Executive Director of Bella Elza Markova on the ceremony. She pointed out that the company team will be delighted to work together with each candidate scholar because they showed an exceptionally high level of academic training.

‘During the first edition of the contest it had an extremely high interest. So this year we decided to give a chance to more of our students to get involved and actually cover all majors with a potential interest’, said Rector Of UFT p rof. Kolyo Dinkov. In his words, Bella is a longtime partner of the university and always offers excellent career opportunities to graduates of the UFT.

In the second edition of the contest for food industry specialists it took over 30% of all eligible entries - the most successful students of the UFT, which is a very good result considering the high criteria for participation, said by the university. For their successful performance all scholars that participated in the scholarship program received certificates.

The scholarships of ‘Bella Academy’ for students of UFT are the newest joint project of the food holding Bella and the university. Manufacturing plants of the company regularly accept students from UHT for internships and training s . Thus Bella helps for the career development of future professionals in the food processing industry.
